Last Saturday noticed another great night for the seventh high temperature. Tenerife Loves Karaoke, sponsored simply by Roy’ s Pizza and Indian native Tandoori Restaurant, offers a prize deal, for the winner, of 1, 000 pounds in cash, a chance to perform with this year’ s Tenerife Entertainment Honours, a week’ s all-inclusive Canarian Cruise with Pulmantur, courtesy of Vantastic Tours and Festival of Tales, along with the opportunity for Keddy’ s Enjoyment to create your own portfolio and display, and the chance for a career within entertainment.
We going back to a firm favourite of Tenerife Loves Karaoke, Clouseau’ s Club in Palm Mar. There has been a great atmosphere, and a brilliant nearby crowd for the contestants to amuse, and this time was no exception.
As with all the heats this season, Clouseau’ s Bar was complete, with not a seat to be had, and had a great, fun evening. Gordon Slayney, the host for the evening, got proceedings underway by presenting the three judges and telling everybody what they were looking for. He furthermore outlined the voting, and exposed what prizes were available for the particular night’ s winners, and the general winner.
John Luca was first to be called to the stage, plus sang a Stevie Ray Vaughan number, Pride and Joy, which usually immediately set the standard for the night time. Sophie, who, at 14, has been this year’ s youngest compitent, was next, singing Clown simply by Emeli Sandé; it certainly obtained the crowd on their feet.
Then came Clive, along with Bruno Mars’ Marry Me, towards the crowd’ s delight, followed by Shannon, a 2017 finalist, with the girl version of Amy Winehouse’ s i9000 Valerie. This also got the masses going.
Renie carried out Dreamer, and then Muriel took to the particular stage with a Christina Perri quantity, Arms. Next was Azrael, who have took us to the break by having an old karaoke favourite, Que Sera, Sera.
The second fifty percent got underway with Sara Morris singing Pink’ s Who Understood; what a start! Following Sara had been Janet with The First Time Ever I could see Your Face by Roberta Flack, then Pete with Kingston Town.
By this time, the masses were on their feet, dancing. Leah was next with a brilliant, enjoyable performance of That Don’ t Win over Me Much by Shania Twain… and everybody loved it.
Brandon Fitzpatrick sang Irish favourite, Dirty Old Town, making sure the audience’ s participation, plus Dave was next with I love It. Elaine, our last compitent of the evening, finished off along with Penny Arcade.
Following a short break, the judges verified who would be going into the sing-off. The successful four were Pete, Sara, Sophie and Shannon, as well as the audience seemed to agreed with the choice. Their second-song choices were given, as well as the sing-off started with Shannon performing Fugees’ number, Killing Me Gently With His Song.
Following up was Sophie singing Compassion by Zara Larsson, then Pete performed Save The Last Dance For me personally by Michael Bublé. Last has been Sara’ s rendition of One in support of by Adele. Wow – such a sing-off; the judges had a challenging decision to make.

Both received their warmth trophies, and meal vouchers using this year’ s sponsor, Roy’ ersus Pizza and Indian Tandoori Eating place. Everyone who participated was outstanding, and all those who came to watch this particular heat at Clouseau’ s Pub had a fun-filled night.
