The King’s Route is an unique walkway in Spain but not someone to attempt if you are scared of levels.
It is 3km (1. 9 miles) long, 100 metre distances (328 feet) high and just a single metre wide.
The King’s Path (El Caminito del Rey) in Malaga has been closed in 2001 for protection reasons but re-opened in 2015 after a massive restoration project. Brand new fencing keeps walkers safe because they cross a narrow gorge using a sheer drop to the river beneath.
The BBC Travel film featured in The Take a trip Show which can be seen on BBC World News and the BBC Information Channel.
