A THE SPANISH LANGUAGE policeman, holidaying in New York, had been hailed a “ hero” right after saving an US female official from a violent assault.

Ruben Castillo, a National Law enforcement agent in Valencia, was strolling with his girlfriend in Times Square any time a man in his thirties “ head-butted” the officer, and reached on her pistol.

With the ALL OF US officer “ dazed” from the attack, Castillo leapt upon the opponent and handcuffed him.

“ We were rolling around on a lawn for a while, until I managed to restrain him completely, and explained to the particular attacked agent that I was a The spanish language policeman, ” Castillo told  Todas las Provincias regional newspaper.

The Spanish officer detained the person until more US agents came. Meanwhile, thousands of people began to applaud Castillo’ s heroic intervention.

But the off-duty policeman stated he would prefer people to “ help”, rather than applaud, in future.
