TENERIFE Loves Karaoke, sponsored from the Duke Shops, Costa Adeje, is really a fun competition, open to anyone older than 13, who complies with the conditions, conditions and rules, which are published on www.oasisfm.com .

The awards available for the winner of the 2019 competition are 1, 000 pounds in cash, and a singing look at this year’ s Tenerife Amusement Awards.

The 5th heat took place at Marguy’ h Bar & Restaurant, in Mis Cristianos, which is a new venue for that competition.

Just like the rest of the heats so far this year, there were almost no empty seats. Again, a variety of music were performed throughout the night, however, as before, there was not an Adele or Ed Sheeran song to become heard!

Kerry Railton, Tenerife Loves Karaoke host for that night, got proceedings underway with all the crowd-pleasing Mustang Sally, which set the particular night’ s tone.

This was followed by Peter, a finalist a few years back, singing an Toby Lloyd Webber number, Music of the Night, which earned him a standing up ovation.

We after that we heard a great version of My Way, followed by Dave, with John Croce’ s Poor Bad Leroy Brown, and he really did bring the home down.

Mumford & Sons I Will Wait around followed , and taking us to the break was Bill, with what appears to be a popular choice this year: Roy Orbison’ t Penny Arcade .

After the interval, by which we saw one of the judges execute, the second half got underway with all the Wurzels’ toe-tapper, We are a Cider Drinker, followed by Todd, with Chuck Berry’ s

Ashton B. Goode .

Neil Diamond’ s Sweet Caroline arrived next, and then Guido, with an Elvis classic, It’ ersus Now or Never. Another brilliant performance of Mike Cooke’ s Take it Home To Me has been next, and Colette wrapped in the first half with the vintage Lee foundation Lewis number, Excellent Balls of Fire .

A short break was used while the judges confirmed who would end up being heading for the semi-final, with Philip and Colette going through. Peter has been up first, performing Luciano Pavarotti’ s Nessun Dorma, while Colette chosen The Corrs’ Breathless. And what the sing-off we were treated to.

Everyone performed brilliantly within the night, giving the Marguy’ s i9000 Bar & Restaurant a fun-filled night of entertainment.

Nevertheless , it is a competition and it was verified that Peter had won High temperature 5, and Colette collected the particular runner-up spot, with both going through towards the semi-finals.

They each obtained their heat trophies. Many congrats to both singers, for wearing such a fine show.

We would like to thank everyone whom entered this heat at Marguy’ s Bar & Restaurant, and also the owners and staff, who produced this another memorable heat.
